Monkeying Around

My name is Tracie Renfrow and I am an overly cautious parent.  (It doesn't help that she inherited my clumsiness.  I really hope she doesn't follow in her mother's footsteps and break her nose six times!)

I make my child wear slippers over her socks so that she won't slip on our floors.
I won't let her own a tricycle after she crashed and fell when trying one at Toys R Us.
I won't let her chew gum until she's 4.  (she can't watch Bambi or Pinnochio until then either)
and until today I still followed her around on all of the bouncy obstacles at Monkey Joes.

We visited the Gastonia location today (or as LK call's it JaJa's Monkey Joes) and by the end of our visit Lily Kate did almost all of the obstacles on her own!

 I'm excited about all the ways that she is growing up, but I know in just a matter of time I'll be climbing all of the obstacles to help Aubrey :)
