Ever since we read
Blueberries for Sal (over a year ago) I have been wanting to go blueberry picking. Thankfully we didn't have to climb a mountain and didn't encounter any bears.
Today the girls and I met up with Karen and Benjamin to pick blueberries. The nearest berry farm (
Bush-N-Vine) is about 45 minutes from here, so it was a hike...but well worth it!

Totally opposite of her sister, Aubrey wouldn't eat a single berry. She spit out the one I put in her mouth. She doesn't realize what she is missing out on!

We got fresh peaches, green beans, green peppers, and cucumbers. I'm excited to use it all for dinner. Now I just need to come up with some recipes to use up all of these blueberries and peaches.
